Born 1969 in Malmo, Sweden. Started to play saxophone 10 years old. Joined Skurups big-band 14 years old.
Between 1989-94 played with Big Blowin´band in Ystad. Was accepted to the music-program at Fridhems folkhögskola 1992.
1994 I went to Boston, USA to study at Berklee college of music. Studied private for Jerry Bergonzi, Hal Crook and George Garzone.
Fall 1996 I played a musical at the National opera in Seoul, South-Korea. In Korea I also worked as a studio-musician, recording for different rockbands and TV-dramas.
Spring 1998 I graduated, got a bachelor of music degree, from Berklee and moved to Copenhagen.
October 1998 Played on a cruiseship for four months, cruising the carribeans.
Fall 1999 I moved to Malmö and worked with 'Dåliga Mänskor' at the Malmö music-theater.
Fall 2000 I was employed at the cultureschool in Höganäs.
As a freelancer I´ve played with bands and people such as Tomas Franck, Anders Bergcrantz, Fabian Kallerdahl, Monday Night Big band (SE and DK), Beijbom/Kroner big band to name a few. I also do workshops, courses and give private-lessons in improvisation. I have lectured about improvisaton on behalf of SJR.
